Application is necessary for the collection of large-sized waste, such as furniture and bedding. In addition to having large-sized waste picked up at your home Monday through Saturday, you can bring in such items directly on Sundays (e.g., by car). The application procedures for large-sized waste are given below.

How to Dispose of Large-sized Waste

(1) Call for an appointment.

Note: You will be notified of the collection day and fees.
Reception hours: Monday through Saturday,
8:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m.
Note: Available on national holidays as well
(2) Applications can also be filed over the Internet.

and input your information on the screen.
Note: You will be informed of the collection day and fees by e-mail within three days. |

Locations where large-waste stickers
are available
Large-waste stickers are available at approximately 340 shops, including convenience stores and supermarkets that have a sign that says “品川区有料粗大ごみ処理券取扱所” (Shinagawa waste stickers available). |

Note: The handling fees for bringing in items directly are comparatively lower than if the items were picked up at your home, depending on the item.
Note: In some cases, furniture that can be reused may be sold at Recycle Shop “Ribbon.” |

 Purchase a waste sticker
(Pay processing fees.)
Purchase the appropriate amount of Shinagawa City Large-sized Waste Stickers as notified when making your appointment and place the sticker(s) on your item(s). |

 Collection
Take your item(s) to the designated location by 8:00 a.m. on the collection day you reserved. |
|
Bring Your Item(s)
Bring your large-sized waste to the Recycling Center on the designated Sunday (your appointed day) between 9:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. |

●Four Types of Household Electric Appliances
For refrigerators (including freezers), washing machines, picture-tube TVs, and air conditioners (indoor and outdoor appliance), please contact either the retail shop where you are planning to buy a replacement or the Household Electric Appliance Recycling Reception Center (Tel: 5296-7200).
●Personal Computers (Main Body and Display)
Please ask the manufacturer of your computer to collect your used item. For information on the recycling fees and reception counter for each manufacturer, please call the PC3R Promotion Center (Tel: 5282-7685). |
