| Application is necessary for the collection of large-sized waste, such as furniture and bedding. In addition to having large-sized waste picked up at your home Monday through Saturday, you can bring in such items directly on Sundays (e.g., by car). The application procedures for large-sized waste are given below. |
| How to Dispose of Large-sized Waste |

Call the Shinagawa City Large-sized Waste Reception Center (Tel: 5715-1122) to apply.
Notes:
1.Please inform the reception center if you plan to bring your item(s) directly
to the Shinagawa City Recycling Center on a Sunday.
2.You will be informed of the date your item(s) will be collect or should be brought in as well as fees.
Reception Hours: Monday through Saturday*, 8:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m.
* Reception is open on national holidays as well.

 Purchase a large-sized-waste sticker (sodai gomi shoriken)
Please purchase the appropriate amount of Shinagawa City’s large-sized-waste stickers as notified at the time of application from large-sized-waste-sticker agents in the city (e.g., shops, supermarkets, and convenience stores with the identifying sign).

 Take your large-sized waste to the designated location
○Taking items to the designated location for individual collection
Attach Shinagawa City’s large-sized-waste sticker(s) to your item(s) and take it/them to the front of your home by 8:00 a.m. on the collection day specified at the time of application. (If you live in group housing, such as an apartment building, leave your item(s) at the common entrance or large-sized-waste-placement location.)
○Bringing in items on a Sunday
Attach Shinagawa City’s large-sized-waste sticker to your item(s) and bring it/them by car or other vehicle to the Shinagawa City Recycling Center between 9:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. on the specified day. |

Items That Are Not Collected as Large-sized Waste |
●Refrigerators, freezers, washing machines, clothes dryers, TVs, and air conditioners (indoor and outdoor units)
Please ask the retail shop where you are buying a replacement to handle your used item or call the Household Electric Appliance Recycling Reception Center (Tel: 5296-7200).
●Personal computers (main body and display)
Please ask the manufacturer of your computer to collect your used item. For information on the recycling fees and reception counter for each manufacturer, please call the PC3R Promotion Center (Tel: 5282-7685).
●Hazardous items, poisonous items, heat-resistant safes, etc.
Please ask a specialized handling company to take care of your used item. |
