A School Entrance Notification, with information on orientation and other school-related matters for children entering school in April 2010, will be mailed on December 7 (Mon.) for junior high schools and on December 14 (Mon.) for elementary schools. Please contact the School Affairs Section if
　• your child is entering a national or private school.
　• your child is not able to start school due to illness or another unavoidable reason.
　• there is an error in the notification, such as in the address, name, date of birth, or parent’s name.　
　• you are planning to move within or out of Shinagawa City.

● Entrance Procedures for Foreign Residents
Please complete the designated procedures at the School Affairs Section as early as possible if you are a foreign resident and would like to enroll your child in a municipal elementary school or if your child is planning to complete elementary school in March 2010 and would like to enroll in a municipal junior high school but has not yet completed the enrollment procedure.
