Location: Curian (in front of Oimachi Station)
Eligibility: 18 foreign residents and 18 Japanese residents who live or work in Shinagawa (by lottery)
Program: German home cooking
Fee: ¥1,000
To Apply: Use the application form on the Shinagawa-ku International Friendship Association’s Web site or send a reply-paid postcard to the association (2-1-36 Hiromachi, 140-0005; Tel: 5742-6517; www.sifa.or.jp) with the class name, your address, name (with furigana), age, sex, and telephone number. For those who work in Shinagawa, include the name, address, and telephone number of your workplace, and for foreign residents, include your nationality. Applications must be received by January 27 (Thu.).
