From April to September 2011, the child allowance will be distributed as it was in FY2010.
Amount: ¥13,000 per child per month
Eligibility: Those who are raising children up to the age of third-year junior high school students (until the first March after the child turns 15)
○ The following people must submit applications:
Those who have given birth to a child recently and are now caring for more children
Those who have moved to Shinagawa City from another city, town, or village
Those who have not yet applied
Those who have become public employees (submit the application to your place of work) or who have ceased to be public employees (submit the application to Shinagawa City)
Notes:
1. The allowance is offered starting from the month after you apply.
2. If you give birth or move at the end of the month, you can start receiving the allowance the month after you give birth or move if you apply within the first 15 days after you give birth or move.
