The 30th Anniversary of the Shinagawa Citizen’s Charter
Shinagawa Eco Festival 2012—A Partnership for the Future

On Sunday, May 27, Let’s Go to Shinagawa Chuo Park!
Date and Time: Sunday, May 27, 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
Note: Event will be held even in light rain.
Locations: Shinagawa Chuo Park (in front of the Shinagawa City Office) and the Small and Medium Enterprises’ Center 1F (1-28-3 Nishi-Shinagawa)
The program includes:
・ Environmentally friendly crafts
・ An open-air market
・ Flea market
・ Environmental exhibition
・ Booths selling food, drink, and other products
・ Stage performances
・ Outdoor attractions (performances, children’s play equipment, etc.)
・ Rides in electric and fuel-cell cars
・ Exhibition of discarded items that are still usable
・ Free distribution of recycled gardening soil and collection of unwanted gardening soil
・ The 36th Shinagawa Children’s Sumo Championships

Solar Energy Fair: Look, Listen, and Touch
Let’s make use of solar energy, which is an effective way of countering global warming and helps conserve energy and electricity.
Program: Introduction of appliances that use solar light and solar heat, a household energy conservation consultation corner, solar crafts class, and more
