Enjoy Cooking with Foreign Residents as a Family!
Star Chef Shinagawa Kitchen (Total of four sessions)
This cooking workshop uses easy Japanese and English, and gives Japanese and foreign resident families the chance to enjoy learning together.
Date, time and program:
November 9 (Sun.)—Miso soup with pork and lots of mushrooms and a “treasure chest of flavors,” and futomaki sushi
December 14 (Sun.)—Christmas special pizza party
January 11 (Sun.), 2015—Sweet Valentine chocolate-chip cookies
March 1 (Sun.)—Let’s cook with squid! Fishermen’s style rice-stuffed squid
Note: The time for all classes is 9:30 to 11:30 a.m.
Location: Curian (in front of Oimachi Station)
Instructors: Wakana Tokumasu (food planner), Jun Maeda (chef), and others
Eligibility: Japanese and foreign resident families; 36 people (by lottery)
Fee: 2,500 yen (cost of ingredients)

Write the class name as “Ei-Kids” and give your name (with furigana), address, age, sex, telephone number, your child’s name and age, and your nationality if you are a foreign resident.
