Cosmos

With blooms of a deep red-pink or peach-like color, cosmos is a flower characteristic of autumn, although some of them begin to bloom from around the summer. Within the city, over 100,000 blooms are viewable along the banks of the Shinagawa Hanakaido, which is a two-kilometer area spanning the Katsushima Canal (Higashi-Oi 1- and 2-chome, and Katsushima 1-chome).
