This culture and sports festival has something for everyone to enjoy, including those of various ages and nationalities as well as people with disabilities. The program includes painting a huge handprint art—GUINNESS WORLD RECORDS® challenge program—as well as events where you can experience traditional Japanese culture and play some universal sports.

Front Square
We will create a huge artwork of the silhouette of Shinagawa City’s cityscape by the participants’ handprints. We’re attempting to break the current GUINNESS WORLD RECORDS® for number of participants, so please feel free to join in the fun and break a world record!

● Exhibition of Works by Shinagawa City Residents
1F, Event Hall
This exhibition presents the artistic creations of various Shinagawa City residents. The works on display cover six fields of endeavor—calligraphy, photography, painting, handicrafts, flower arrangement, and miscellaneous.

Take a peek into the magical world of objects created using sponges.

● Sword Battle
2F, Arena
Participants in this multigenerational activity use swords made of sponge to drop off balls attached to magnets.
Hours: Session 1, from 11:30 a.m.; session 2, from 12:45 p.m. (reception begins at 11:00 a.m.; 60 persons for each session on a first-come, first-served basis) |

● Experience Universal Sports

Visitors from children to elderly can enjoy various universal sports activities, such as Zumba, boccia and hockey.

● Ride a Honda UNI-CUB
(a personal mobility device)

You can take a ride on Honda’s UNI-CUB, a new personal mobility device, and experience the intuitive operation of this futuristic vehicle.
Hours: 11:10 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. (12 cessions; test drives are 12 minutes long; reception starts at 11:00 a.m. on a first-come, first-served basis)
Eligibility: You must be 145 cm or taller in height and
100 kg or less in weight

● Workshops
3F, Large Conference Room and Medium-sized Conference Room
You can join various workshops to make things by hand, such as hanamoji (Chinese rainbow calligraphy) and aromatherapy.
Hours: Until 5:00 p.m.

● Japanese Cultural Experience
4F, Japanese Room
Explore aspects of Japanese traditional culture, such as a tea ceremony and a koto performance.
Hours: 11:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.
