Autumn Leaves (momiji)

Autumn is the season when leaves start to change color. The warm and vivid red and yellow hues of autumn leaves have captured the hearts of people since ancient times. In Japanese, the changing of autumn leaves is known as koyo, and the Japanese word momiji means “maple.” In Shinagawa City, you can see changing leaves in Ikedayama Park (5-4 Higashi-Gotanda), Togoshi Park (2-1 Yutakacho), etc.
