Enjoy Sports Festival “OZ”
~ Olympic Zeal ~

Tokyo 2020 Olympic and Paralympic Games are now only a year away. Shinagawa City will hold an event to get everyone excited about these upcoming world events, including Olympic and Paralympic event experience programs as well as talk shows with athletes as special guests and other programs that everyone can enjoy.

Date and time: July 28 (Sun.), 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Will be held even if it rains.
*If it rains, the outdoor events may be changed.
Location: General Gymnasium (2-11-2 Higashi-Gotanda) (An 8-minute walk from Gotanda Station or Osaki Station)
Participation Fee/Admission: Free

Olympic and Paralympic Event Experience Corner

(Eligibility: 3 years of age or older)

▌Hockey
(Tokyo 2020 Olympic and Paralympic Games; Shinagawa City-held event)
▌Beach Volleyball (Tokyo 2020 Olympic and Paralympic Games; Shinagawa City-held event)
▌Blind Soccer (Tokyo 2020 Olympic and Paralympic Games; Shinagawa City-supported event)
▌Bouldering (Tokyo 2020 Olympic and Paralympic Games event)

● In addition to the above, there will be Paralympic sports experience programs.

Let’s Play with Shinagawa Tourism Ambassador Cinnamoroll!

There will be food trucks offering summer gourmet and festivals called En-nichi as well as a “Delicious Market” sponsored by municipalities related to Shinagawa City (Miyako City of Iwate Prefecture, Tomioka-machi of Fukushima Prefecture, Hayakawa-cho of Yamanashi Prefecture and Sakai City of Fukui Prefecture). There will be all kind of fun things to do all day!
