Coming in October—A National Census Covering All Residents

The national census is the most basic and essential survey conducted according to Japanese law. Using October 1 as the standard date, this survey covers all residents and households in Japan. You can send in your response (available in 6 languages) via the Internet using a computer or a smartphone, or by post (available in 27 languages).
The survey’s goal is to clarify the state of the population and households of Japan and obtain basic reference data to help the national and local governments create various policies. It is used in a wide range of fields. Your understanding and cooperation would be deeply appreciated.
