The City Office Reorganized in April
Organizational aspects of the City Office changed in April to handle new administrative issues and provide you with even better services. The changes are as follows:

●Newly Established Posts and Subsections
〇 Section Chief in Charge of Information Strategy (Information System Promotion Section): Digitalizes administrative services.
〇 Unit in Charge of Inspection and Guidance (Nursery Section): Provids inspection and guidance for childcare facilities.
〇 Benefits and Services for Handicapped Residents Subsection (Welfare Section for Handicapped Residents): Handles allowances and medical subsidies for handicapped residents.
〇 Unit in Charge of Infectious Diseases and Public Health, Unit in Charge of COVID-19 Vaccination (Health Care and Disease Prevention Section): Promote ways to prevent COVID-19.
〇 Treasurer’s Subsection (Treasurer’s Office): Handles receipts and disbursements and prepares financial statement.
〇 Section Chief in Charge of Finance (Treasurer’s Office): Manages the funds of Shinagawa City.
