Make Use of the Shinagawa Disaster Prevention Handbook and Shinagawa City Disaster Prevention Map!

These publications are available for city residents in several languages (English, Chinese and Korean) at the Disaster Prevention Section of the Shinagawa City Office. You can access them via the Shinagawa City website as well.

● Shinagawa Disaster Prevention Handbook
This handbook contains various information related to disaster prevention, including what you should do in an emergency, how to remain prepared for a disaster, and how to obtain disaster-related information. Be sure to make use of this book and take disaster countermeasures in your home.

● Shinagawa City Disaster Prevention Map
This disaster map shows all the communities in Shinagawa City, and has a tsunami/flood hazard map based on estimations of the national, metropolitan and city governments on the back. It is a good idea to use this map to confirm the locations of your regional safety evacuation area and other evacuation shelters to prepare for an emergency.
