Shinagawa Starts e-Library and Music Database Service!
We have created an electronic library filled with e-books as well as a music database offering over two million works of (mainly classical) music that you can enjoy via the Internet!
In this issue, we’ll describe the electronic library and music database and how you can enjoy e-books and music while staying at home.

| What Is an Electronic Library? |
An electronic library offers check-out services and reservations for e-books via the Internet.
● Eligibility: Shinagawa City residents with a library card
● Usage procedures: Please bring your blue library card to a Shinagawa City municipal library or the Osaki station west exit library facility and obtain a special ID and password
● Rental period: 14 days
Note: If there are no reservations for a book, you can extend the rental period once.
● No. of rental items: Up to 2 items per person

| What Is a Music Database? |
Naxos Music Library is an information search engine service that allows you to stream about over two million music tracks which is equivalent to about 130,000 CDs, mainly of classical music, using your personal computer or smart device.
● Eligibility: Shinagawa City residents with a library card
● Usage period: 14 days; after the period is over, you must file another application
● Usage procedures: Please bring your blue library card to a Shinagawa City municipal library or the Osaki station west exit library facility and obtain a special ID and password
