“Traditional Crafts & Tastes of Shinagawa Exhibition”
This exhibition features a lottery drawing for visitors to win accessories handmade by the artisans!
The arts and crafts on display include vivid Edo-kiriko (Edo cut glass), wasai (Japanese dressmaking), and Kusaki zome tebata orimono (handwoven fabric dyed with grass and other plants). Skilled professionals in these arts and more from the Shinagawa Traditional Crafts Preservation Group will have demonstration booths. Experience firsthand some of the tradition and history that developed in Shinagawa. There will also be various hands-on experience corners and events. Don’t miss the fun!
Date and Time: January 29 (Sat.) and 30 (Sun.), 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
Location: Event Hall, Curian (in front of Oimachi Station)
