Exploring the Shinagawa Disaster Prevention Experience Hall
Admission is Free
Shinagawa Disaster Prevention Experience Hall—once Shinagawa City Office Dai-ni Chosha 2F but now completely renovated—is a place designed to raise awareness on disaster prevention where you can gain the knowledge and skills needed to cope with a disaster. Experience Hall has various exhibits and videos related to disasters, such as what supplies to keep in stock. You can also learn how to extinguish fires, transport people requiring special care during an evacuation, and use an AED (automated external defibrillator). Via virtual reality, you can even experience a simulated fire and evacuation after an earthquake.
