Shinagawa City Run 2025


 

The Shinagawa City Run is a brand-new event that according to the city aims to “make Shinagawa City shine with the smiles of its residents through the power of sports.” Any local resident can participate in the event as a runner, volunteer or spectator, and every resident can shine.
The goals of this event—which is making its debut in 2025—is to promote Shinagawa City and foster pride among its residents.

Oi Racecourse (2 Katsushima)
Junior Run (2 km) 9:30 a.m. Shinagawa-kumin Park Note: The course is inside the park.
Family Run (1 km) 10:10 a.m. Shinagawa-kumin Park

Road traffic will be restricted on the day.

Road traffic on and near the course will be restricted on the day. Please be aware that traffic congestion is expected near the course.
Please also note that there are areas where pedestrians and cyclists cannot cross, and that some bus routes will be affected by traffic restrictions and will be suspended.

Affected hours: 8:30 - 11:00 a.m. (at most)
Affected areas: Keibajo-dori Street, Kyu-Tokaido Street, Kaigan-dori Avenue, Tennozu-dori Avenue and other roads on and around the course

From 9:00 a.m. to 1:30 p.m., the main venue—Oi Racecourse (2-1-2 Katsushima)—will feature many fun attractions, including stage shows, sponsor booths, food trucks and more. Everyone is welcome to come and join in the fun—we hope to see you there!
